The majority of members in The Grail in Canada are mostly from Toronto. We are involved in a variety of professions, issues, and actions. These include the following:
Tackling Green Economy and Climate Change
Coordinating Support Programs for Women, Seniors, and Families in Need
Working With refugees, Non-Status Individuals, and Latin Americans With Low Incomes
Protecting Tenants From Eviction
Visiting Inmates at Prisons
Centering Prayers and Meeting To Reflect Issues Related to Spirituality
Our Leadership Role and Other Involvement
Our movement is also present in Ontario, Quebec, and Prince Edward Island. We have a leadership role in Women Doing Theology and active involvement with the Women’s Inter-Church Council in Canada. In addition, our members work on the following:
Advocating Social Justice From Local to International Levels
Providing Education Against Harmful Impacts on the Environment
Giving Support for Organic Farming, Water Resource Protection, Land Preservation, and More
Leading a Small Group Monthly Spiritual Reflection Based on Scripture
